Nature of Service – Second Opinion Only
- All consultations on Ecurehub.com are provided strictly as a Medical Second Opinion.
- This service does not replace a primary doctor–patient relationship in the patient's home country.
- The patient agrees to share this second opinion with their local physician before starting or changing any treatment.
Patient Consent for Telemedicine
By proceeding, I acknowledge and agree that:
- The consultation is conducted via video, audio, or text with a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) in India.
- No physical examination is possible during telemedicine.
- Medical advice is based solely on the information I provide.
- Remote diagnosis has limitations, and the doctor may advise in-person consultation locally.
No Emergency Use
- Ecurehub is NOT for medical emergencies.
- If I experience a life-threatening condition, I agree to contact local emergency services immediately.
- Ecurehub does not provide crisis or emergency intervention.
Assumption of Risk & Voluntary Choice
- I voluntarily choose to consult a doctor located in India.
- I understand Indian medical standards and legal systems may differ from my country.
- I expressly assume all risks related to telemedicine, including:
- Absence of physical examination
- Technology or connectivity failures
Limitation of Liability & Hold Harmless
- Ecurehub is a technology platform, not a medical provider.
- Doctors are independent practitioners responsible for their own medical judgment.
- I release, waive, and hold harmless Ecurehub, its directors, employees, and doctors from:
- Medical malpractice claims
- Negligence
- Errors in judgment
➡️ Maximum liability (if any): limited strictly to the consultation fee paid.
➡️ No punitive, indirect, or consequential damages may be claimed.
Prescriptions & Medication Policy
- Prescriptions are issued as per Indian medical regulations.
- Certain drugs (narcotics, psychotropic, Schedule X) cannot be prescribed via telemedicine.
- I am responsible for checking legality and availability of medicines in my country.
International Shipping & Customs Disclaimer
- Ecurehub only facilitates shipping via licensed pharmacies and courier partners.
- I am the Importer of Record.
- Risk transfers to me once the package is handed to the courier.
- Ecurehub is not responsible for:
- Customs delays
- Seizures
- Destruction of packages
No refund or replacement will be issued in such cases.
Privacy & Data Protection
- I consent to electronic storage and transmission of my medical data.
- Data is encrypted using SSL, but no platform is 100% secure.
- Records are retained for minimum 3 years as per Indian regulations.
- My data is processed on secure servers in India, regardless of my location.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Consultation:
- >24 hours before appointment → Refund minus 25% admin fee
- <24 hours / No-show → No refund (one reschedule allowed)
Pharmacy Orders:
- Once packed and invoiced → No cancellation or refund
- Customs seizure → No refund
Refunds (if eligible) are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Jurisdiction & Governing Law (Very Important)
- This consultation is deemed to take place in India.
- All disputes are governed exclusively by the Laws of India.
- Only courts in Ludhiana, India shall have jurisdiction.
- I waive the right to sue in any other country.
